1999 Winning Recipes

Most of the recipes make use of a variety of convenience foods. Each recipe calls for no more than six readily available ingredients that can be prepared in 30 minutes or less. Half of the 1999 Cook-Off recipes feature prepared, fully-cooked, heat-and-serve beef products. The recipes showcase the versatility of products such as tender pot roast, savory "prime rib" slices, juicy tri-tip and tangy BBQ beef brisket. Many of the heat-and-serve products may be heated in a microwave for 10 minutes or less. Look for the various fully-cooked, heat-and-serve beef products in either the refrigerated meatcase or frozen food sections in your supermarket.
